Each month PCPCC executive members are invited to participate in exclusive monthly briefings to discuss internal and external developments, including strategic planning, public policy developments, and new program initiatives. Briefings occur monthly on the last Tuesday of the month from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM ET.

Here are the details of our May 2017 briefing webinar:

Please join us for a special webinar, exclusively for executive members, where you will hear two informative presentations:

1. An update on the Comprehensive Primary Care Plus (CPC+) program from the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation; and
2. An overview of a new proposed alternative payment model designed to support advanced primary care

This month's briefing is packed with insightful content! Rayva Virginkar, Payer Engagement Lead for the federal CPC+ program, will provide an update including details on the new regions announced last week for round 2.

Following a brief CPC+ update, payment reform experts from the American Academy of Family Physicians will present an overview of the "Advanced Primary Care Alternative Payment Model" (APC-APM) they designed and recently submitted to the Physician-Focused Payment Model Technical Advisory Committee (PTAC), an independent committee of payment reform experts that evaluates new payment models and makes subsequent recommendations to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
