Each month PCPCC executive members are invited to participate in exclusive monthly briefings to discuss internal and external developments, including strategic planning, public policy developments, and new program initiatives. Briefings occur monthly on the last Tuesday of the month from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM ET.

Here are the details for our February 2017 briefing:

Title: Catalyzing Improvements in Primary Care: New Primary Care Payment Models Paper Sets Forth 7 Principles and 19 Recommendations to Drive Payment Reform

Description: PCPCC executive members will be among the first to hear the details of the new Primary Care Payment Models white paper, to be published by the Health Care Payment Learning and Action Network (HCP LAN) at the end of this month. The paper aims to drive alignment in payment approaches across and within the public and private sectors of the U.S. health care system. It offers recommendations on many critical issues related to primary care payment models (PCPMs), including ideas for how PCPMs can enable better integration between primary care and behavioral health, as well as the most effective ways for payment models to encourage primary care practices to engage in good stewardship of health care resources.

The white paper offers seven principles and 19 recommendations to catalyze improvements in primary care. It then concludes with immediate action steps that stakeholders can take to address key implementation issues.

Don't miss this exclusive opportunity to hear the details of this "hot off the press" paper!
