Aditi Vasan

Aditi Vasan, MD, MSHP is a pediatrician and health services researcher in the Division of General Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and an Instructor of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Vasan is passionate about promoting health equity, and her research focuses on creating programs and supporting policies that allow all families to access the resources they need to keep their children healthy and safe. Her current work is focused on implementing and evaluating health system-based social interventions, including community health worker programs; improving access to government benefit programs; and improving the integration of health and social services for low-income children with chronic conditions. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals including JAMA, Health Affairs, and JAMA Pediatrics, and featured in media outlets including the New York Times, Washington Post, and Philadelphia Inquirer.

Dr. Vasan received her BA in Molecular Biology and Global Health and Health Policy from Princeton University and her MD from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She completed residency training in Pediatrics at CHOP, where she also served as chief resident. She completed fellowship training through the National Clinician Scholars Program at the University of Pennsylvania, where she also received a Master of Science in Health Policy Research.
